Student Fee Information Sheet
The student activity fee is $25.00 for students aged 19 and under and $20.00 for students aged 20 and 21. This fee includes a school agenda, a TTC student photo card and allows students to participate in intramural sports, clubs, student council projects and other student based activities. A booklet is provided detailing the clubs, school teams and intramural activities at Monarch Park with the purchase of the activity fee. Students will be able to pay for the activity fee to their homeroom teacher.
If you lose your agenda, additional agendas can be purchased from the main office before school or after school for $7.00.
Physical Education Uniforms
The cost for a full uniform is $30.00. It includes 2 T-shirts and 1 pair of shorts. Shirts may be purchased individually for $10.00 and shorts may be purchased individually for $15.00. Please see Mr. Galikowski in the West Gym to purchase your Phys. Ed uniform.
There is a $30 fee for all students that participate on a sports team. This fee covers the cost of the athletic banquet, referee fees, tournament entrance fees and equipment expenses. This is a one time annual fee students pay when they participate on a sports team(s).
Students must have a combination lock in order to obtain a locker. You may only use a locker that is assigned to you by the main office. Locks placed on lockers not assigned to you will be cut off at your expense. All combination numbers must be registered with the main office. Locks may be purchased for $6.00 from the main office. The locker number assigned to you is indicated on your timetable. Students cannot occupy lockers that are not assigned to them.
Students should be aware not to leave books and coats in their assigned lockers until they have their lock and can secure their lockers. Students, who leave their personal valuables, even in locked lockers, do so at their own risk. The Toronto District School Board will not assume responsibility. Never share a locker or give the combination to anyone.
T.T.C. I.D. Cards
T.T.C. I.D. cards are required in order to purchase T.T.C. tickets at a reduced rate. Student I.D. cards are available only to students who are 19 years of age or under effective September 6th, 2011. The cost of your photo is included in your student activity fee. If you lose your student photo card, application forms can be picked up in the attendance office. The fee for a replacement card is $5.25 paid directly to the TTC at Sherbourne station.
