Careers Development

Counsellors provide students with relevant, current career in foundation. Students have the opportunity to take interest and aptitude tests to help determine career choices. Visits by counsellors to classrooms provide opportunities for self-awareness and career awareness, as does the Career Studies course in grade 10. Our Career Centre is on-line, uses the program Career Cruising and has literature on all kinds of careers.

Career Cruising

Career Cruising is an all-Canadian, interactive career guidance system which has the following features: excellent self-assessment tools, 450 in-depth occupation profiles, 900 multimedia interviews with real people in those occupations, comprehensive information on Canadian colleges and universities. Username and password are available once you have registered at MPC.
